The star tours with an astronomer & physicist take place on Wednesdays. The International Dark Sky Park on the Winklmoos-Alm is the 1st Star park in the Alps and the 4th officially recognized Star park in Germany. Meeting point: valley station of the chair lift Nostalgie in Dürrnbachhorn. More infos here.

To date, a total of 13 World and European Championships, World Cups and other competitions have been held in Inzell. The name Inzell is known throughout the world for speed skating. The offer includes speed skating on the 400 m large track. Speed skating training in the Max Aicher Arena is carried out under the expert guidance of certified trainers.

Every year in early summer, the cows "travel" by boat to the lush alpine pastures in the Berchtesgaden National Park. At the beginning of October the summer is over. Upon arrival at the lake, the cows are decorated. The decorated cows are returned to their home farm. An exact date can not be mentioned. More information here

The Inzeller ski area "Kessel-Lifte" offers a magnificent view over the Inzeller valley. Winter operating hours: The lifts are open daily from 9 am to 4 pm. Every Friday, from 6 pm to 9 pm, the night skiing with floodlights takes place. Froschseer Straße 37, D-83334 Inzell. In the Kesselalm, you ride down the slope on large, inflated rubber tires through a 150 meter long snow channel. Back to the top you get comfortable with a small lift. From 20 till 23 o'clock. “Thumsee Burns” is the concert higlight of the year in Upper Bavaria. The Bad Reichenhaller Philharmoniker play a summer night concert in symphonic form on an open-air stage by the lake. Thousands of visitors make themselves comfortable on the sunbathing lawn above the Thumsee with blankets and picnic baskets. The crowning glory is a colorful firework.

Every Thursday at 10 am. Take a tour of all levels and get an insight into the history of skating here in Inzell, from the beginning on the lake Frillensee, over the artificial ice rink at the foot of the Falkenstein to the construction of one of the most modern ice rinks in the world.

Up to 180 steeds make the Michaeliritt in Inzell a gala. Every year on the last Sunday of September thousands of visitors admire the appearance of the horses, the riders and the splendidly decorated car. The solemn blessing at the Liebfrauenkirche is the highlight of the festival.
